Also popular as the Golden Peak and Golden Parri, Spantik is located in Nagar district of Gilgit-Baltistan on one side and Arandu region of Baltistan on the other side. The 7,027 m high peak is one of the favorite climbs of most mountaineers in the Karakoram Range.
In recent times, Spantik has offered favorable climbs for most mountaineers. Many climbers have used Spantik to train themselves for high altitude climbs. Spantik is situated to the south of the famous Hispar glacier and above Chogolungma Glacier. The campsites on the way to Spantik offer spectacular views of the nearby mountains, valleys, and wilderness.
When you climb the peak from the Southeast face, you can easily reach the summit of the mountain. The Arandu face of Spantik has an easy terrain and offers an easy climb for most climbers. But keep in mind that the majestic peak is situated in a distant region.
It can take up to three days to arrive at the basecamp of Spantik. During the trek, you will cross glaciers, which is why it is advised that you follow the mountain guide’s instructions. While climbing Spantik is relatively easy, getting at the basecamp is somehow difficult. If you have the experience, skills, fitness, and passion, chances are you can reach the summit without much difficulty.

We will be climbing Spantik Peak from the Baltistan/Arandu side of the peak. Once your briefing at the Ministry of Tourism is done, we will fly you to Skardu. We will trek through the Chogolungma glacier and arrive at the base camp of Spantik.
